1) Poem(s) MUST be in the Tetractys form, your own work and not published before, nor be concurrently entered in any other competition, nor have won a prize in any other competition.
The Tetractys has a very specific form, so if you are unfamiliar with the form please first send an S.A.E. (or an addressed envelope and 2 I.R.C.s, or $5 U.S., if writing from abroad) for an article on the tetractys form to the address below. Or alternatively buy a copy of Q.L.45 in which there is a comprehensive three page article.
2) No poem to exceed 20 lines.
3) Poem(s) to be in English, typed, word-processed, or written neatly on an A4 sheet of paper.
4) No name on the poem(s) but a separate sheet with title(s) and your name and address to accompany your entry.
5) Entry fee is £3 per Tetractys or Double Tetractys (U.K.) or £4/$8 U.S. (Rest of Europe) and £5/$10 U.S. (Rest of the World) and £5 (U.K.) or £6/$12 U.S. (Rest of Europe) and £7/$14 U.S. (Rest of the World) for any entry longer than a Double Tetractys. PLUS a Stamped Addressed Envelope in the U.K. or an addressed envelope & 2 I.R.C.s for overseas entries.
N.B. The S.A.E. or TWO I.R.C.s is a condition of entry in case of any queries arising and any entries without one will be disqualified.
(if you have a problem in the U.S. in obtaining IRCs, then for any case where you are asked for these in connection with Q.Q.Press, you should enclose $5 U.S. instead.)
6) PRIZES : 1st £30, 2nd £15, 3rd £10 + 10 Commendations £2 and publication in Quantum Leap Poetry Magazine.
