The Closing Date for this Competition is now past. However, we had a very good response to this Competition so may well run another one next year.
1) All poems entered MUST be your own work and be RHYMING poems to which you hold copyright.
2) They must NOT have been published before NOR won a prize in any other competition.
3) Poems must NOT exceed 24 lines in length and should be in English, typed, word-processed, or neatly written.
4) Your name and address should NOT appear on your entry - just title(s) and poem(s) only, with name and address and entry title(s) on a separate sheet of paper.
5) You MUST include an S.A.E. - or, if entering from outwith the U.K., an addressed envelope and TWO I.R.C.s - or, if you cannot obtain these, an extra $5 US. N.B. This is a condition of entry into the competition and any received without it will be disqualified.
6) Entry fee is: ONE entry £3 Britain and Rest of Europe, £4/$8 U.S. Rest of the World. TWO entries for £5 Britain and Rest of Europe, £6/$12 U.S. Rest of the World. THREE entries for £6 Britain and Rest of Europe, £7/$14 U.S. Rest of the World. For any entries over this amount please add an EXTRA £2 per poem Britain and Rest of Europe or £2.50/$4 U.S. per poem Rest of the World.
7) Cheque must be made payable to A. CARTER (NOT Quantum Leap or Q.Q.Press!)
