I) Poem(s) MUST be true haiku - i.e. adhering to the 5-7-5 syllable form AND containing a seasonal allusion.
Please do NOT enter poems which do not meet this rule — no matter how good they are they will not be acceptable and will therefore have no chance of winning a prize.
2) All haiku must be your own work and not published before, nor be concurrently entered in any other competition, nor have won a prize in any other competition.
3) Poem(s) to be in English, typed, word-processed, or written neatly.
4) No name on the poem(s) but a separate sheet listing the entry/ies and with your name and address to accompany the entry.
5) Entry fee is £3 per haiku (UK) or £4/$8 U.S. per haiku (Rest of Europe) and £5/$10 per haiku U.S. (Rest of the World). Or you may enter 4 haiku for £10 (U.K.) or £12/$24 U.S. (Rest of Europe) and £14/$28 U.S. (Rest of the World) PLUS a Stamped Addressed Envelope in the U.K. or an addressed envelope & 2 I.R.C.s for overseas entries.
N.B. This is a condition of entry and any entries without it will be disqualified. (If you have a problem in the U.S. in obtaining IRCs, then for any case where you are asked for these in connection with Q.Q.Press, you should enclose $5 U.S. instead.)

6) PRIZES : 1st £30, 2nd £15, 3rd £10 + 10 Commendations of £2.
All the winning entries and Commended poems will be published in a special ‘Haiku Corner’ in an issue of Quantum Leap.
