Winners will have their five winning poems published in a special edition of Q.Q.Press’s Collections imprint: THE FIVE BY FIVE COLLECTION.
1) Poems of any style/form are welcomed.
2) Poem(s) must be your own work and you must hold the copyright to them. They may have been published before – please indicate where and when – but must not be concurrently entered in any other competition, nor have won a prize in one.
3) No poem to exceed 36 lines.
4) Poem(s) to be in English, typed, word-processed, or written neatly on an A4 sheet of paper.
5) No name on the poem(s) but a separate sheet with title(s) and your name and address to accompany your entry.
6) Entries to consist of SIX poems – from which 5 winning poems will be chosen.
7) Entry fee is £6.50 (British Isles & Europe) £9/$18 (U.S.) Rest of the World PLUS a Stamped Addressed Envelope or if entering from abroad, an addressed envelope +two I.R.C.s.
N.B. The S.A.E. or TWO I.R.C.s is a condition of entry in case of any queries arising - and any entries without one will be disqualified.
(if you have a problem in the U.S. in obtaining IRCs, then for any case where you are asked for these in connection with Q.Q.Press, you should enclose $5 U.S. instead.)
8) PRIZES : The 5 winners = £25 + Publication of their 5 winning poems in the Five by Five Collection. Also 15 Runners Up= £3 + Publication of a poem or poems in the Five by Five Collection. At the judge’s discretion a number of Commendations may also be chosen, receiving a payment of £2 and publication in the Collection.

10) Cheque must be made payable to A. CARTER (NOT Quantum Leap or Q.Q.Press!)
(U.S. Dollar Bills are also acceptable)
11) Next competition will be in 2012, with a closing date of 31st December 2012.
