Q.Q. Press was started back in 1997. Disgusted by the fact that there were so many “Vanity Publishers” out there — who were quite happy to take people’s money - charging them an absolute fortune - but then doing little to help — I determined to start up a publishing company of my own, which would help aspiring poets into print but at a reasonable cost. To test the water, I used the company to publish my own first collection, and I also started a quarterly poetry magazine - Quantum Leap. Both Q.Q.Press publishers and Quantum Leap magazine have gone on to be very successful. We have published over 100 Collections of people’s poetry, many going on to the reprint and second reprint stage, and Quantum Leap itself now goes to over 40 countries around the world. |
